Russ Smith, DVM

Dr. Russ Smith, a native of Nashville, Arkansas, is an experienced veterinarian who has served his community for 40 years by providing quality animal medicine.

Dr. Smith received his degree in Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University.  Upon graduating, he returned to Nashville to open his own veterinary practice, Smith Animal Hospital, being a sole practitioner for 20+ years.  Dr. Smith practiced veterinary medicine full time for a total of 37 years.

In 2021, Dr. Smith retired from full time veterinary work.  He continues to work relief for Nashville Animal Hospital, as needed.

Dr. Smith and his wife Susie enjoy traveling and spending time with family.  They have 2 children and three granddaughters whom they adore.
